Choose a delivery provider
JustAI decides who receives each message and prepares the content. Your delivery provider sends it, from your sender, and reports the result back. You connect one provider for an environment, then add a sending profile for each sender your journeys use.
Customer profiles and customer events still come from your data source. A delivery connection does not create those profiles. Customer.io and Iterable can also forward customer events you name. That forward is separate from delivery reporting. See Customer events.
Providers
Section titled “Providers”| Provider | Channels | How JustAI finds each person | What you set up |
|---|---|---|---|
| Iterable | Email, SMS, and push | The email trait on the customer profile. The Iterable project must identify users by email. |
An API key, a content data feed, a system webhook, and a sending profile for each sender. |
| Klaviyo | Email and SMS | Email address for email. Phone number for SMS. | A Klaviyo account connection, one shared flow, and a sending profile for each channel. |
| Customer.io | Email, SMS, push, and in-app | The same person ID your Customer.io workspace uses. | An App API key, Track credentials, a reporting webhook, a delivery automation, and a sending profile for each channel. |
If you send through Braze, or JustAI sends the email itself, your JustAI team sets that up with you. These guides cover Iterable, Klaviyo, and Customer.io.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”- Open the account menu at the bottom of the left sidebar. Under your name, it shows your organization and environment. Each connection belongs to that environment. If it is not the environment that will send, select Environment, then Switch next to the environment that will send.
- An organization admin saves your company’s mailing address in Settings > Delivery before the first Iterable test email. Klaviyo uses the mailing address saved in your Klaviyo account.
- Send each person’s identifying details with their customer profile before a journey sends to them. The table above lists what each provider needs.
